Candle Burning and Safety

To ensure the safe burning of your candles, please follow these guidelines:

  • Remove all packaging before lighting the candle,
  • Place container on a protected, heat-resistant, dry surface, away from anything that is flammable,
  • Keep out of the reach of children and pets,
  • Keep wick(s) trimmed to ¼” at all times. If smoking occurs, extinguish the flame, trim wick, and relight,
  • Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, or any combustible material,
  • Keep the wick centered,
  • Avoid burning candles in air drafts,
  • Keep candles in sight at all times,
  • Never leave burning candles unattended,
  • Do not use if the glass is cracked or busted,
  • Do not allow the flame to touch the side of the glass,
  • Handle with care, the glass may become very hot
  • To minimize wax left on the sides of the jar, burn at least 3 hours at a time,
  • Prevent possible heat damage to counter/surface by discontinuing use when ½” of wax remains
  • Extinguish carefully.
